  3. These photos are awesome! The tight compositions, especially with the bug photos, create this mix of playful but also horror aspect that is super interesting. You were really able to capture and get up close and personal to the tinier wildlife of Gainesville which I appreciate.

  4. You did a really nice job at capturing close up of insects and lizards and still keeping a nice contrast and minimal gray area. I think the 7th photo has the tightest and cleanest composition; there is a very nice contrast between the insect and her face, and since you got such a shallow depth of field there is no distracting background.

  5. I agree with Kirsten, your 7th photo feels the strongest compositionally. All of them are obviously well balanced, and they all have an intimate feel to them. I like the ones that incorporate a person better, though. Maybe put a lizard on your tongue?

  6. These are all really strong and you have an evident narrative. I'm most drawn to the 7th because of its simplicity. Your gaze going over and away from the viewer is interesting as well.

  7. The cohesive theme of small creatures is really successful and interesting. The compositions are all really dynamic and balanced. The active quality and sense of movement in photo nine is really nice, though I really enjoy the still quality of the other images as well.

  8. I really admire your unconventional solutions in photos 6-10 apart from the fact that the narrative behind the whole collection is very convincing and clear, I really admire your unconventional solutions in photos 6-10. I also love the 1st photo. It is so interesting in terms of combining both dynamics and tranquility in one picture.

  9. I love the roundness of your eye in the photo of you and the beetle on you nose. Of course the bugs interacting with you are very interesting. I'm impressed also by how close your were able to zoom into the bugs without them flying away, as well as how clear the photos are

  10. I love that you focused a lot on wildlife this week! I've been wanting to do this so badly but just haven't had time during daylight hours. There are so many interesting textures and themes that can be done with wildlife but I like how playful these pictures make the animals feel.

  11. The bugs on the food and your tongue really creep me out but give such a wow factor to these images. The compositions are great and well cropped. In the 9th and 10th photos the lighting is good and dramatic, the shadows help intensify the focus on the bugs.
