I think photos 6 and 7 work well together with their similar compositions. Maybe you could push your photos further by composing all of your photos like these two, and switch the weight of each photo to add more contrast between them.
10th photo is very interesting to me. I like that the words are jumbled up. Usually those signs convey something of immediate importance so I think it was a cool idea to obscure the message.
It looks like you documented a walk through town and I like how you included small details that could go unnoticed along with big landmarks. The short depth of field works really well for the dragonfly photo.
The tenth photo is really interesting it conveys a sense of movement that is very nice. Also the light glowing from behind the sign and the glow of light on the sign have really nice contrast to the darker areas of the photo.
The first and the last photo are my favorite in the terms of narrative. They make me wonder where you were and why you were there whereas some of the others feel a bit more generic. You have a great use of contrast in your images except the ones with the sky simply due to clouds. Maybe if you held something up in the foreground or added another element to those images it could push it more
Photos 3 and 4 seem to be very interesting to me. I like how you focused on details by keeping the contrast of the compositions with the other technical solutions as their main priorities
These are great photos because of the success in your use of lighting even in the dark. There is also a good sense of value range. The effects you are using to blur the background and focus on the foreground are really interesting. I Really love the effect you got with the lighting on the 9th photo.
Photo 8 I feel is most interesting, and portrays a sense of life and death. Over the summer we have swarms of dragonflies and now their season is coming to an end. The photo has a strong sense of light and composition. It's worth noting how in most of your compositions get dark, and changes the mood of each photo.

ReplyDeleteThere is a lot of contrast in your photos and the use of silhouettes seems very scenic. All the images look very peaceful and have calming lighting.
