Really cool and interesting compositions. I love that you did portraits, I find that they really seem to reflect the subjects personality. All around your photos emit a sense of happiness.
I really love your 7th photo. It is already a bit strange that this person has a big coat on in the kitchen while cooking something, but the fact that you cropped out his/her head really enhances the photo's mysteriousness. I love how the legs partly blend in with background of the kitchen as well, it makes this person somewhat seem like a ghost. I think you could make a really interesting narrative with more compositions like this.
I think your strongest images are the ones that utilize props. 4, 7, and 8 (maybe 9) are the most visually interesting, because they offer obscure narratives.
I really enjoy the effects going on in the 8th and 9th photos and the slight obstruction they create. The 7th photo is interesting because without any information about who the person is or what they look like, I still get an idea of their personality because of the jacket and environment.
The light trail effect of photos nine and eight are really interesting and capture movement well. The cropping and light effect of photos nine and seven hide the identity of the subject and give a sense of mystery and intrigue that is really compelling.
I’m really happy you did portraiture because it seems to be a subject our class avoids and shows the extra effort of attaining models. Your last image is so charming and feels very natural while still having a broad range of values and contrast and a strong composition. The coat image is also incredibly interesting and shows a lot of experimentation
I love how you merged the sense of motion and stability in photos 8, 9. In, general I think you have managed to create an amazing collection of nicely composed photos that also experiment with movement and light.
Your first and second photos could use more contrast, they are a little gray. By using the white roses in the third photo you added contrast in a really interesting way and maybe you could do more of that to have more values. The fur coat is a nice texture
the 8th and 9th photos are cool and more experimental by playing with long exposure. They have an interesting composition and strong value range. I think its worth experimenting with lighting, even if some turn out unsuccessful.
