  1. Your 1st photo completely plays with the viewers' eye. At first glance, especially with the pier in the distance, the beach cart looks huge and reminded me of a Mary Mattingly sculpture. Some of your images, especially the 7th, seem a little grey and lack contrasting values, but that can be an easy fix with more light.

  2. Most of your compositions are very interesting to me. I love you close you got to some objects. I really love the simple composition of the second photo, but I think your lens might have had some dirt or water on it due to the specs of dark spots on the photo. My favorite composition is the last photo. My eyes first go to the chairs in the water, and then follow the lines of the pier and the white tops out into the water.

  3. You're showing proficiency with a variety of settings and subjects, which is good. Some of the "indoor" shots are very dynamic, but I think the outdoor pictures you have here are all well-composed and are much more visually interesting.

  4. I really enjoy how dynamic the beach photos are. They're really sharp and you did a good job of capturing motion. The other photos are well done also but the outdoors photos show more of what you're capable of.

  5. Photo 4 has great value range, texture, and movement. It has a abstract painterly quality that is really interesting. The compositions are strong throughout your series of photos.

  6. I appreciate that you took photos of a new subject matter for us and got out of Gainesville. It instantly makes the image a more engaging since we don’t see these views everyday. Image 9 captures beautiful rough texture along with a sense of a flowing surface which is an interesting power play.

  7. It looks like you experimented with different perspectives that are very interesting. I love the busyness of the sixth photo as well as the pattern sort of intercepting that busyness on the umbrella. This strategy also worked on your first photo-combining a busyness in the suit cases with the visual break of the simple beach and sky

  8. Your 4th photo looks like a painting and is definitely my favorite out of this collection. The 6th photo seems very romantic and creates a dreamy feelign with perfect clouds and the blimp. It creates a very scenic picture and the gaze feels softened.

  9. The beach photos I think are the most successful. My eye is well guided throughout the compositions. The 6th photo does a good job of capturing a moment in time and feels romantic.
