I really like the subject matter you chose. While each photograph has the same idea I feel like each photo is an individual and can stand on its own. Your 10th photo with the roses is especially rich with texture. The soft focus is really nice as well and compliments the dried flowers.
I think your concept is very strong, and that you successfully conveyed a message about eating disorders or something of that nature through these photos. Everything in the bowls seems gross and unappealing, making me feel a bit disgusted by each photo. I think your photos highlight the frustration that people with eating disorders experience each time they have a meal in front of them.
You have a really cohesive little series here. Even though your subject matter is very similar throughout, there's a lot of variation in composition and texture.
The contrast between the bowels and the backgrounds is really successful, like in the way the second and third photos have a dark background for a light bowl and vise versa. The different perspectives and compositions helped to diversify this series of images.
I would also agree that the thematic coherence is very strong. The contrast between the white bowls and their dark backgrounds in many of the photos creates a nice emphasis on the shapes of the composition.
Technically speaking I think you could have benefitted from another source lift because a lot of your images are rather dark. Visually, image 6 is my favorite because it seems to reference the moon and all of the symbolism of phases and passing time that goes along with it. Your concept is interesting but could perhaps be pushed with some hands or gestures along with the bowls so that they don’t appear as just empty food waste
The third photo down is nice in that the values go back and forth-white eggs on black bowl on white counter. These are very interesting as a narrative. The differing shadow directions are great. You could experiment with closer shots and more differing angles
The strong theming in this set of photos really helps to focus on your composition. You've taken a simple idea and refocused it to become more interesting. I think you would benefit from a strong light source making the objects in the bowls more dramatic and emphasized.
