The desolate nature of your photos is complimented by the low contrast and lots of grey values. I do think some of your images (7,8) would benefit from slightly more contrast just differentiate some of the forms and create a more interesting image.
You started playing with value ranges in a few of these which I think is working well, specifically photos 4, 5, and 6. The high contrast adds depth to these, and I think you could push this further in your future photos.
