Claire Glenn - week 11

  1. This set of images are really cohesive and have a strong theme that is working well. I particularity like photo two, its striking and creates a really interesting illusion. There is an eerie mood, especially comparing images like 8 and 6, the happy facade and the uglier true expression. These images are a great example of the idea of concealing and revealing.

  2. Wow, freaky. These are interesting for sure. Perhaps show more of how the Disney characters are affecting the subjects lives or our lives through the subjects expression or using body language in full body shots. I think using a ballsack and associating sex with Disney is a winner

  3. These photos are all super cohesive and definitely give the viewer a certain eerie/empty feeling. I would like to see maybe even tighter framing of the composition. I think that would strengthen the images even more.

  4. These photos are really good in capturing a creepy and distorted mood. I think collaging more body parts and Disney imagery together would make these even stronger. In some of these photos I’m starting to lose sense of what’s real and fake, which I would love to see more of.

  5. I love the surrealism in these, and I love the satire in photo 2. I would love to see more experimentation with different types of cutouts!

  6. I like how you chose to do more experimentations based on your last photoshoot. I think more body parts would make it even more interesting.

  7. You've done an amazing job recontextualizing Disney iconography. Very ballsy of you.
